We remember that here we will limit ourselves to the beaches that remain within the City, leaving to talk about those that are outside that limit further.

1 – SECRET BEACH

The Secret Beach really is a beautiful place! It is a place with no strip of sand, actually a natural pool. Its full extent is quite small and for the most part not too deep.

Firstly, the bad side is that due to its great beauty, it is increasingly popular and becoming a very crowded place and suffering the consequences for this (especially with regard to garbage).

Therefore, none of the beaches listed in this post are on our tours, however, for beaches outside the City.

2 – DANGEROUS BEACH

A beach surrounded by greenery … what a beautiful setting! The sea with that tone in pulling pieces pro blue and in others for the green. The first place match was difficult …

3 – PRAINHA AND GRUMARI BEACH

Beaches with a more difficult access, which makes it end up becoming a more untouched environment and consequently cleaner and empty. Therefore, they are areas of environmental protection and accessible through trail.

4 – BARRA BEACH

It has a very extensive strip of sand, with fine grain sand and generally quite rough sea, but some people risk entering. Good for surfing and even some championship stages are held on this beach.

5 – RED BEACH

So, this one already starts abusing. Next to the Sugar Loaf, one of the biggest postcards of the City, presents a beautiful landscape.

In this way, its location, surrounded by the hills of Urca and Babylon, is usually a beach calm and without waves. It has this name because the sand becomes reddish when the sun goes down, due to the reflection of the light of the Sun in the red and pink crystals located in its sand

6 – COPACABANA BEACH

every year the party of New Year’s Eve, hosted the competitions of beach volleyball, aquatic marathon and triathlon in the 2016 Olympics … A great request!

7 – IPANEMA BEACH

A famous beach, where there is space to play volleyball, futevolei among other sports practiced by friends who go to the place. It is very frequented by tourists and also by residents of the City. Its beauty ended up inspiring Vinícius de Moraes who composed the song Garota de Ipanema. Many sporting events take place on site, as well as evening shows as well. Watching the sunset on the harpoon is practically mandatory.
